Mystery Authors' Panel

On Wednesday, March 6th at 11:00am join us at Towne Center Books for an author panel featuring four female writers!

Writer Ann Parker will be moderating our other three wonderful writers Judith Newton, Susan Shea, and Carole Price. They will be talking about their books, writing process, and taking audience questions.

Judith Newton is Professor Emirita at UC Davis where she taught Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. She is the author of several books such as Feminist Criticism and Social Change, Taste of Home: Coming of Age in the Kitchen, and Oink. Oink is her newest novel focused on protagonist Emily Addams after she is suspected of poisoning a farmer she barely knows with her genetically modified cornbread.

Susan Shea is the author of the French Village Mysteries series, her newest being Dressed for Death in Burgundy. Dressed for Death in Burgundy revists Katherine Groff as she stays home with her and husband's beloved dog as he travels off to find, hopeful, success in the music industry. How in the world does she manage to get caught up in a mysterious dead body in the local museum?

Carole Price is the author of numerous novels such as Vineyard Prey, Twisted Vines, and Sour Grapes. She will be talking about a variety of her murder mysteries, all with her own brand of charm and cheer!

Ann Parker is our wonderful leader of our mystery book club and will be moderating this event. She herself is the author of several mysteries you've probably seen on our shelves such as Silver Lies or Meercury's Rise.

This is a FREE event but RSVPS are appreciated!!
